Faculty Senate Report
Reporter: Misty Heggeness
Misty went to a KBOR meeting, and they discussed the Workload Policy changes. It was in a subcommittee, and it is moving forward to the full KBOR. They had some conversations on accountability. This is moving forward.
University Senate Report

Our next meeting is on Nov. 20. We are waiting on a few policy revisions from some people, but nothing yet.
New Business —
Provost Search. There are discussion about governance representation on the committee. There was a delay in posting the job search because of delay going through the KUMC system, as well. Jeff Chasen added that HR is supporting the Chancellor in this. This is solely handled through the Chancellor’s Office. Jeff encouraged governance to be proactive and to be involved.
Syllabus Mandate
This will be discussed at Faculty Senate.
Faculty Voluntary Retirement.
This will be discussed at Faculty Senate for feedback.
