Description & Purpose

 


Membership

The Environmental and Sustainability Committee shall be composed of three faculty members serving staggered three-year terms; three representatives from the staff serving staggered three-year terms; three undergraduate student representatives as appointed by the Student Body President and one graduate student representative as appointed by the Graduate Student Body President serving a one-year term; and the following ex-officio, non-voting members: the Landscape Manager and Head of KU Grounds, Director of Facilities Planning and Development, Energy Program Manager, Director of Custodial Services, Director of Transit, a representative from the Department of Environment, Health and Safety, a representative from the  Environmental Studies Program and other subject matter experts as deemed warranted by the committee members. Either a faculty member or staff member may be appointed as chair.
