Faculty Senate Report
Reporter: Sam Brody
- The Faculty Statement on International Community will go out with the next Governance update.
- KBOR is tomorrow in Pittsburgh, KS. We will talk about the final criteria for the KBOR awards. We have had little in the way of meetings with the Provost and Chancellor.
- The next meeting with the provost is April 24.
- We learned through UAKU that administrators want to do away with split appointments. …
University Senate Report

- We could not vote on outstanding changes about grading policy and competency-based education.
- Travis Goff will present at a special meeting on April 17.
- Unexcused absences. Susan Williams and Andrew Shoemaker are launching a makeup testing approach for faculty at the testing center. They are working on a policy, procedure and website. Also, they have scheduling software. There may be another resource in the fall with help in excused absences. Josh wants to visit how they monitor testing to ensure honesty.
Dean Search for the business school is finished. We will pass on recommendations
