Caty Movich

Caty has worked in University Governance since October 2022 and has been with the University of Kansas since August 2020. She is the Administrative Associate Senior for the Office and supports both the Staff Senate and University Senate Presidents and their committees. She also processes FacEx Appeals (Exceptions to University-Wide Academic Policies), writes monthly newsletters on Governance activities, and manages the Governance website and social media. Prior to working in Governance, Caty studied and taught ancient Mediterranean languages and culture at KU and UC Davis. She enjoys reading, sewing, and playing with her cat.
