Approval of minutes from January 20, 2023 meeting

Unfinished Business —

Discussion on SPPT Review Checklist

Nisha and Araceli will reach out to Jennifer to request that the checklist developed for review by SPPT committee be shared with departments. By doing this, we assure expediency in both the crafting of guidelines and their review.

Review of Journalism and Mass Communications Evaluation

The committee reviewed all items of Article VI. Ample discussion followed for each outcome that seemed unclear to one or various members of the committee. Araceli took notes and crafted the document for feedback to Journalism and Mass Com. All members of the committee agreed to send the feedback directly without further review necessary from each member. Nisha and Araceli will craft the document and send.

 

New Business —

Task for next meeting: Review guidelines from the Dept. of Anthropology. Make sure we indicate where we saw fulfilment of all requirements to assure expediency when reviewing as a committee. Submit the checklists to Teams by or before the next SPPT meeting.
