Approval of Previous Minutes —

Minutes from the Dec 11, 2025, meeting were sent to committee ahead of time. Minutes approved without objection. 

New Business —

Missy gives an overview of the upcoming meetings:

  • Two guest speakers at the Feb 26 meeting: 
    • Nick Stevens, VP of Enrollment Management, will begin the meeting to share updates surrounding enrollment management.
    • Heather Blanck, VC of Strategic Growth Initiatives & Real Estate, will follow Nick with updates surrounding real estate and project developments across campus. 
  • Missy reached out to the CFO office about a Spring Forum slated for approximately April. 
  • The committee can discuss the Strategic Alignment presentations at the March meeting. 

Strategic Alignment Presentations: 

  • Missy was able to attend many of the Strategic Alignment presentations in addition to Corinne and Jason.
  • The presentations will be available online from Feb 9 thru March 6 behind KU single sign on. 
  • Missy will let the committee know when these are available so the committee is able to review and discuss them in March. 

The Provost and Chief Academic Officer search has kicked off: 

  • Two candidates have presented. Missy gave additional links and website information on the agenda. The virtual presentations are still on the website. 
  • The candidates for February 2 and February 4 will be announced two days prior. 

Missy asks Jason and Corinne if they have additional information to add:

  • Corinne also encourages viewing the strategic alignment presentations as they provide a great deal of information for how each unit is connected to the broader vision and mission of KU. For next year, it will be a One KU process, and we’ll additionally hear from the deans at KU Medical Center and how they are aligning to the strategic framework as well. 
  • Jason agrees that the information has been very helpful to do our jobs. Please reach out to Corinne or Jason with any questions. 

Missy thanks Mia for utilizing the Jayhawks Elevate portal and bringing forth a proposal to Enrollment Management as it relates to military personnel and veterans applying to KU.
