New Business —

  • Primary goal for the meeting today is to review and analyze the results of the International Student Survey that recently went out and see if recommendations can be made. 

 

  • The committee spent the previous Fall 2025 developing and refining the survey. 

 

  • There were fifty total respondents. Due to the limitations of the results and number of respondents, the results are not representative of the whole international community at KU. In the write-up, we will want to show this isn’t a representation of the whole KU international community. 

 

  • The survey still shows important issues such as transportation and resources. 

What recommendations can be made? 

International Cuisine on campus seems feasible. 

 

 It may be helpful to coordinate with AIRE for future surveys and possibly shorten the survey. 

 

  • Action items: Review of previous surveys and response rate. Schedule next meeting and consider working with AIRE.
